accumulate

(v.) - If something begins to accumulate, there gradually gets to be more and more of it over a period of time.

Synonyms: build, grow, add to, pile up, expand
Antonyms: shrink, dwindle, become less
Etymology: 1490 Latin, from ad- meaning "in addition" + cumulus meaning "heap"
Morphlogy: accumulation - n, cumulative - adj

Example: "This is Sand" is a fun website, and since you can watch all of that colorful "stuff" accumulate, today it will be educational, too!

I am a big fan of vocabulary! Why should words be dull when they can be dazzling?
