subtle

(adj) - If something (or someone) is subtle, it is not easy to notice or understand unless you pay careful attention.
  • Synonyms: barely noticeable, unobtrusive
  • Antonyms: obvious, “in your face,” obtrusive, blatant
  • Etymology: 1300 Latin, from subtilis meaning "fine, thin, delicate, finely woven," which comes from sub meaning "under" + -tilis, from tela meaning "web"

Can you spot the subtle differences between two very similar pictures?
