(v) - If two (or more) things of the same type vary, they are all different from each other.

Synonyms: differ, change, disagree, range
Antonyms: remain, stay, equal
Etymology: Mid 14th-Century Latin, from varius meaning "different, spotted"
Morphology: variable - adj, n; variation - n; varied - v, adj
Example: Becuase we all come from a different heritage, our holiday traditions will vary from house to house.

I am a big fan of vocabulary! Why should words be dull when they can be dazzling? It is my goal for your kids to learn at least 180 impressive words this year, not just so that they will recognize and understand them, but so that they will use them.
